What's it all about?

Dance Your Socks Off is an interactive dance game where participants earn points and win prizes by learning a number of different dance styles. From hip hop to rock and roll, it is designed to be played by as many people as possible. Dance Your Socks Off is a great way of animating town centres or inviting audiences back into a venue, it works as corporate team building or at parties.

Who is it for?

This is an intergeneration game designed specifically to be accessible to all ages and abilities.

Dance Your Socks Off Add Ons

The Dance Your Socks Off Add Ons are designed to enhance your experience of the Game. The Team behind the game brings over 60 year’s of combined experience in the performing arts together. These Add Ons support you to develop the skills of your team, local artists you are developing and can provide the delivery of the Game itself. Depending on the location of your event or training travel and accommodation will be charged in addition to the cost of the Add On. We look forward to continuing our collaboration with you.
Train Your Team
Dance Your Socks Off Artists deliver full or half day training to support your team to learn the dance styles and to deliver the Game. This cost is for one artist to deliver the training.
Host Your Game
Artists J and Sam can be booked to run your Game for you. The cost is for both artists to deliver the Game for either a one or two consecutive day event.
Mentoring
With over 50 combined years of experience in the Performing Arts, Pervez and Kate, creators of the Game are bookable for mentoring. This package is bespoke. Pervez will teach and mentor as a dancer Choreographer, and Kate as a Producer. This package supports younger artist and producers and develops their ability to run their own independent projects and build a performing arts business. The cost is based on four sessions. The mix of dance and producing mentoring can be designed based on your requirements.

Pervez Live 2 Break in hip hop freeze

Pervez Live 2 Break

Inspired by Buffalo Gals, Flash Dance and the global Hip Hop scene, Pervez has been active as a B-Boy since 1983. He has never stopped and maintained his love of B-Boying. He represents old school London crew Live 2 Break and is still very active. He is also currently representing Seven Dollars Crew worldwide.

Pervez has Judged for Hip Hop Session (France), Universal Concrete Jam (Switzerland), V1Battle (Russia), Just 4 Rockers (France), Break Smart Jam (Germany), Circle Kings (Switzerland) and taught internationally.

He also works as a Choreographer of music videos, including for Beverley Knight, and on large-scale productions.

Kate Scanlan

Creative Producer

Kate Scanlan is a creative producer working in the cultural sector since 1998. She has a track record of producing pioneering projects and curating transformative events with artists and young people alike.

Through her company Scanner’s Inc she produces creative concepts, events and festivals; teaches producing and creative business; and consults around curation, new audiences and peacemaking. Projects include The Bridge and Popin’ Pete’s Pop Shop. She has worked in cultural peacemaking for the likes of Battersea Power Station, Croydon Council and Lendlease Elephant Park. She was part of the founding team of the critically acclaimed Breakin’ Convention (Sadler’s Wells) and has produced for Fuel, Southbank Centre and Rambert amongst others.
