What’s it all about?
Discover Arts Award is one way in which Greenwich Dance has responded to the Black Lives Matter human rights movement. Using Black and British artists as the research focus, the Discover Award is a great addition to Black History Month learning. This entry-level award is all about discovering the arts and we have left it open so you can adapt it to any art form you like, be that dance, music, drama, storytelling, or poetry. Authored by independent dance artist Colleen Joseph, the pack guides you through every aspect of the award and includes a full research presentation to start you on your journey of discovery. The award aims to help young people discover the arts and can be completed in a school, arts and culture venue or any youth-focused organisation setting.Who is it for?
